Take your creativity to new heights in this fast-paced art camp. Imaginations will soar as we explore the artistic possibilities of flight, designing the perfect paper airplane, creating found-object bug sculptures and building big beautiful wings of our own.  The sky’s the limit!

Do you have an aspiring artist in the house? They’ll love this special camp designed just for our youngest artists. Rising kindergarten and first graders will explore a wide range of artistic techniques and media including painting, drawing,and ceramics. Registration is limited to 12 campers, allowing for lots of one-on-one attention from our professional instructors.

$40 per child (rising 2nd through 6th)

Grab your sleeping bag and get ready for a fun-filled sleepover at the Community Arts Center! We’ll enjoy art-making activities, go on an art scavenger hunt, explore the galleries by flashlight, and watch a movie (can’t say which, but it’s thematically appropriate…). Registration fee includes an evening snack and light breakfast Saturday morning.
 
This event will be staffed by two female counselors. Maximum enrollment is 20 students.

In this mixed-media class, students study works by famous artists and then create their own original art inspired by the masters. This is a great opportunity for young students to build connections between what they see and what they can create themselves.

Take your drawing skills to the next level in this fun and fast-paced class. Creative Director Brandon Long will help students learn strategies for drawing what they see around them – whether it’s people, landsacpes, or architecture. This is a flexible class, suited for students of all abilities.

Would you like to learn to draw –really draw? This fun and fast paced class will improve your drawing skills, no doubt! Arts Center Creative Director Brandon Long will help kids will learn strategies for drawing faces, people, landscapes that really do look 3-D, and much more, while introducing some of the foundational concepts of visual art.

This is a four-week class. Please note that this class will not meet on 10/10.
