Lydia DiMartino-Ellis has been involved with music in Danville for over 30 years, having taught in the Danville/Boyle County school systems and at local churches and served as the director and piccolo soloist for the Advocate Brass Band. Lydia is president of Direct Experience in Artistic Living, Inc., a 501c3 nonprofit that promotes and supports education in the arts in Kentucky, especially Danville and Boyle County.
During her presentation, Lydia will describe/demonstrate what it means to be a certified Music Practitioner–a type of Therapeutic Musician. Medical Administrators are especially invited to come and learn about this drug-free form of Complimentary Medicine!
