Instructor: Jonas Hurley
Printmaking is one of the oldest art forms in the world, with examples dating back thousands of years. This beginner-level class introduces students to the basics of printmaking, including image selection, block preparation and carving, and image transfer techniques. No drawing experience is required for this class! You will be working from photographs and other existing images. Class concludes with a day at instructor Jonas Hurley’s farm to pull prints on his printing press.
Please note: this class will not meet on April 5.
Need-based scholarships are available for many classes. Contact Maggie Shapiro Haskett at firstname.lastname@example.org or 859.236.4054 to request more information. Financial barriers shouldn’t keep anyone from making art!!
