Open to Interpretation is a non-objective abstract art exhibit. While these paintings may be loosely based on subject matter, much of the interpretation of the art is left up to you, the viewer. In this exhibit, you’ll explore how artists have created different moods and emotions through color and design and learn more about how artists approach creating abstract art. With our hands-on creation-stations, you’ll get a chance to try some exercises to get you on the way to creating your own abstract masterpiece.
If you’d like to learn more about abstract art, try one of our two workshops!
Abstract Art for Kids – Tuesdays, April 17 and 24
Abstract Art for Adults – Mondays, April 23 and 30
